Evening everyone, and another welcome to my new followers from the past 2 few days. Hope you've all had a good day and managed to get some crafting done.
Just wanted to tell you that I had some very good news tonight......I'm now part of the Design Team on 'The Cupboard Trilogy' challenge blog....whoohoo! I'll be giving you details soon of how to join in with the challenges.....
I'm still doing mind-numbingly simple, commercial cards for my craft fairs, and I've got to admit I'll be pleased when I can put away the 'stuff that sells' and get on with something a bit more inky, messy and inspiring!
A few kids cards to show you tonight and this is where the puzzle comes in......do you like the little images and where do you think they came from??? Leave a comment and a guess and I'll tell you tomorrow night.
Well, I did say they were mind-numbingly simple, didn't I?? However, they're always the cards which sell first so I have to do them xx
See you all tomorrow night x
These look like the cards I usually make., and you just called them (mind-numbingly simple) that just about sums me up lol

ReplyDeleteI had a look Barbara and I really have no idea here these images came from unless it was a Cereal Box .. I doubt that though ... but that's my guess xxx

ReplyDeleteLol Eileen You hit the nail on the head hahaha
ReplyDeleteOk enough already what is the answer ???????????????
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getng on the design team. I think the cards are lovely - there's nothing wrong in keeping it simple, especially if that's what the customers want - most custmers wouldn't pay what a more complicated card that took far longer to make would actually be worth in any case. And making quick and easy for customers leaves more time for serious playing.
ReplyDeleteOh for goodness sake Barbara, only you could make something so simple [as in what you used] look so good. They really are lovely cards & it's the quick cards that are the bread & butter to a craft sellers armoury ;) xx
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Barbara, I thought I'd left a comment when these were first posted? I'm like you not keen on doing character cards myself, but they are popular, these are lovely! The papers are pretty, it's hard to get the right background on such a bold image but you done it perfectly xxxx I kind of like the Nicked wallpaper idea lol xxx
