More PaperArtsy @ Topflight Stamps

Hi folks, I'm back today with a tag I've made, using a few different PaperArtsy products.... from Topflight Stamps๐Ÿ˜€
(I'll list what I've used at the end of this post)
ALL CARD STOCK IS FROM PAPERMILLDIRECT
I started off by cutting a tag shape, and inking it with Brusho powders.
Using an old book page, I stamped two flowers from a set of stamps designed by Tracy Scott (I adore Tracy's designs). These were 'fussy-cut' and put aside until I'd finished the background.
Using stamps & stencils, I made a 'messy background on which to place the flower.

I must admit at this stage I'd made it too messy and didn't like it too much. Hey-ho, no time to make another, so I had to finish it.
I adhered the flower & stem, which I'd coloured with inks,
then added a few drops of enamel accents in black & white, and a bit of doodling.
So, although I'm not altogether happy with it, this is my project for today.....what do you think??
I'll be back soon with something I like a bit more, hopefully ๐Ÿ˜
Happy crafting,
Barbara x

Anyway, these are the (very easy) cards......full details on the Papermilldirect blog.

Bright & Not So Bright.......

Hi bloggers, I'm back today with two cards made using
  stamps & stencils and
card stock.
I've used almost the same stencils and stamps, but changed the colour of the background. It makes a massive difference.
I was inspired by a card made by the lovely ( SALLY HOLMES )
What do you think???
My fave is the brightest one, of course.....

Catch you soon,

It's Almost Summer with KAISERCRAFT STAMPS!

Hi everyone, I'm back again with a card made using stamps by KAISERCRAFT.....A few years ago, I was lucky enough to visit the Kaisercraft HQ just outside of Melbourne, Australia. It was amazing, I was like a kid in a sweet shop, so much to choose from. I've liked Kaisercraft stamps ever since and was very happy to see that TOPFLIGHT STAMPS
carry a selection.
This week I've used a set called ISLAND ESCAPE - find them HERE
To make the background, I used Distress Oxides and blending brushes.
I stamped the palm tree images & sentiment directly onto the inked background, then added a bit of shading & doodling to give the beach & sea effect.
The flowers were stamped onto a separate piece of card, coloured, cut-out, then adhered to the main topper.
I was quite pleased with the finished card, it turned out exactly as I had imagined it, thankfully. Hope you like it ๐Ÿ˜€
Well, that's all for this week......hope to catch you soon.
In the meantime, as always, have a great weekend and a crafty week ahead.
