New Stamps from Bee Crafty......

Morning everyone, just a quick blog this morning to show you one of the fabulous new stamps from
This set is called 'Ground Elder', and Bev Tonks of Bee Crafty will be unveiling THREE new sets on Monday 29th February on Hochanda TV.
I've used Dylusions Paints (also available from Bee Crafty) on a small canvas,  over-stamped with the 'ground elder' and Versamark then heat-embossed with gold and copper 'fine detail' embossing powder.
A few spots of liquid pearls, some twine for a hanger and it was done .....
 Hope you like it....
Don't forget to set your recorders for Monday....11am, 2pm and 5pm, where you will find this canvas, and all the rest of the work from the DT.
Catch you soon,
Barbara xx

Inspired by Banksy at Bee Crafty.....

Morning everyone, and happy weekend!
I'm a bit sad as Alan has just left for Heathrow, en route to Singapore for work.....it's gonna be a long week :-( but I have plenty of work & crafting to be getting on with, so hopefully I won't get too bored.. haha....as if!
Anyway a quick post to show my weekly DT work for

I inked the background with a few different shades of Tim Holtz distress ink....Scattered Straw, Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick.
I then used the 'Inkables' templates,  Chainlink, Brick Wall with Hole and Honeycombe 3, and inked through with Fired Brick and Frayed Burlap (all inks and templates available from Bee Crafty)

I stamped around the edges with part of the Splatter Swirl and the bottom edge of the Greatness Words.  The words were stamped again on a spare piece of inked card and cut out.
Lastly I stamped Ghetto Blaster from the Inspired by Banksy range, with Versamark ink and embossed with black embossing powder.
So that's it, job done, hope you like it!
Hope it inspires you to pop over to the Bee Crafty website. There are some fabulous products on there, and Bev will be back on HOCHANDA  with fabby new stamps on 29th February.
Don't miss it!
Barbara xx

Bee Crafty Stamps and Pan Pastels........

Morning everyone, back again with another DT project for BEE CRAFTY
This week I've made a few tags with the BEAUtanicals range.....(love these)
Bev, from Bee Crafty will be back on Hochanda on Feb 29th, so make sure you get this date in your diary ;-) Brand new stamps....can't wait!
Anyway, here are the tags I've made.....

Pan pastels on linen card stock gives a lovely textured effect.
Stamps used, Cow Parsley, Poppy Heads, Dandelion, and Wordage.....

I've used Branches, Poppy Heads, Da Vinci Script, and 'Greatness' wordage stamps here.

Cow Parsley, and stamps from the 'Wordage' collection on here. Loving the way I can use only a couple of words from any one stamp, if needed....... means they are so much more versatile.

Hope you like the finished tags......they will be going up on the wall in my new craft room, over the next few days.....it's almost finished, yeah!!!
Catch you soon, Barbara x

First Post for Bee Crafty.....

Hi folks, back today with my very first blog post for Bee Crafty....I joined the Bee Crafty DT this week, and I'm really looking forward to using their fab stamps and products.
For this first blog I've used the very popular 'Bokeh' technique....it's been around for quite a while, but this is the first time I've used it.

ALL cardstock is from

ALL other products from

Ink your chosen colours onto smooth cardstock, then  apply white ink through a stencil.
I've used an 'Inkables' stencil from
BEE CRAFTY.

Chop out the centre of your inked piece of card, add your chosen sentiment then mat onto black cardstock.

Mount onto a black card base and add a die-cut or embellishment.

The black card, is an alternative way of using this technique.

Catch you all soon,
Barbara xx
