I Must Not Procrastinate!............

Evening bloggers, from a very very wet Wiltshire....hope you're all safe and dry!
I haven't even been outside today, apart from the garden, as I've been trying to re-arrange my craft room.
I must stop hoarding tiny pieces of card and paper......especially as I've got enough A4 sheets to go around the world twice! Anyway, I've been tough with myself, thrown loads of stuff out, and put lots to one side to sell. Job done!
However in doing all this I forgot to do an order for my son Nick & his wife Emma. They asked me earlier in the week if I'd make a wedding card for their friends wedding tomorrow, and they'd pick it up en route.......I thought this meant tomorrow morning, so I put off doing it until tonight. Imagine my shock when Nick phoned at 4.45pm, saying they'd be with us in half an hour on their way to Oxford.....Yikes, why do I always leave everything until the last minute??
So, a bit of panic ensued, but I managed to get it done, just as they got here......with a reminder to myself.....I must not procrastinate, I must not procrastinate, I must not procrastinate!

Hope you like it, I'll be back tomorrow.
Barbara xx

I know what you mean about papers!! Why do we do it??! Little bits of paper hanging around and A4 and 12 x 12 whole papers sat there for years waiting to be used!

  24. Your post made me smile - it's me to a tee except that I just cannot bring myself to throw away my hoard of small card and paper scraps but I have recently set myself the challenge of using them up before breaking into any of the whole sheets (have loads of those too). Beautiful card and no-one would know it was made in a rush if you'd not said. Very wet and windy here today too so plenty of excuses to use up some more scraps.

  25. beautiful card! xx
i store all my scraps in a polypocket with the pad of paper - that way i can see if i have a small piece i can use before cutting into a full sheet. it also means i don't have to rummag thru a box looking for a scrap of paper that matches - i know i'd never bother with that!!!

  33. Stunning card. Just perfect, even if you did have to rush it, you still did an amazing job. So glad you sorted out your craft stuff you won't regret it. Now you have more room to buy some new stuff, especially if you are selling some. More money for craft haha. x

  34. Don't encourage her Dannii! Like you need any Barbara. As usual a very beautiful card and who would have known that you made it in a rush - I would have been found in the corner of the room quivering if that had been me lol x

  35. A very stylish, elegant card. How did you manaage to make such a fantastic card in such a short space of time?
Every now and then I have a sort out of bits as well, but the bits make their way out of my craft stash, into another box which is my nephew's craft stash, so there's no less bits of paper around the place at the end. oh well, they enjoy the cutting and sticking.
