Morning everyone, and what a lovely day it is here in Wiltshire, well so far at least!
Apologies for being AWOL for a week, there just haven't been enough hours in the day recently and I feel absolutely 'carded-out' :(
I think I've mentioned before that we live just 5 minutes from the little village of Lacock, where the BBC costume dramas are filmed.....Larkrise to Candleford, Cranford, Pride and Pejudice, etc, and some of Harry Potter. Needless to say, the 'overseas' visitors love this little village, and it's always very, very busy. We are having a week long, craft event in the village hall this week, today being the last day, and I must admit I'm absolutely shattered, although it's been great fun. I've sold so many cards (which if course I'm not complaining about), that my stocks are severely depleted and I've rushed in every night this week, gone straight into my craft room and only surfaced to eat! Most night I've still been crafting after midnight! I still have between 250-300 cards in stock though, so hopefully today will see lots of them sold too.
Might have a day off tomorrow, then Tuesday I'll start on all the orders, haha. The housework has suffered this week, I don't know how you ladies who work full-time manage to keep up with everything.
Anyway, today's card was made a couple of weeks ago, just a simple Christmas card made with Pan Pastels and a silhouette stamp.
Hope you like it.
I'll be back later with a round-up of my craft week.......All my newest card pics are on Alan's camera, which he's left in his car......the car is in the garage having some work done.....and they don't open until Tuesday! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I'll pop round all your blogs tonight.
Have a great day.
Barbara xx
