Woohoo, second post today..........I've had another very productive afternoon, home alone, so was able to really crack on with a couple of ideas.
The first card is a variation of an idea I saw on TV yesterday which I quite liked. I'm still loving doing the distress inked backgrounds, but for some strange reason they don't seem to photograph very well.
Anyway, here is the first style......
The above one is my favourite colour again, but I'm going to do another, much 'tidier' one. I messed the embossing up a little, so not totally happy with it.
These 2 cards are just my samples and I must line the squares up properly next time ........
I then went on to make two very simple cards and as you can see, I'm still at the 'distressing' stage haha. I have lots more colours of Distress Inks on my 'wish list' for Olympia, next week, woohoo!
I would love you to comment if you've enjoyed looking. Catch you all tomorrow xx

ReplyDeleteWow these are stunning I'm a Barbara Grey fan too I have tried to emulate her but cannot master it, but you have done so well FAB work here ,well done .Hugs Elaine
ReplyDeleteNo Barbara Grey on these Elaine....whilst I like her style, I couldn't be bothered to take hours on each card. And, I think there are so many lovlier stamps on the market. I did buy all the brayering gear though, and lots of her stamps.....then sold them at a loss :-( I've just used distress inks on the above cards and some stamps I brought home from Australia. I think it was a 'Stamp Addict' programme I saw this idea on. Thanks for your lovely comments x
Delete(Of course it's Barbara Gray, and not 'Grey'......apologies x)
