Bee Crafty DT samples from Ally Pally....

Morning everyone.....this is a scheduled post as I'm in Croatia on holiday...yeah!
Last weekend, BEE CRAFTY was at Ally Pally, and launched a fab new range of MDF projects. All the DT got a few to play with, and these were my shapes.....
For this one, I first covered with a coat of white Gesso, then inked over with Adirondack raspberry pink. Using Versamark, I stamped the Ground Elder - HERE, Tree Branch - HERE and sentiment -  HERE,  then heat-embossed  with silver & white embossing powder. I messed around too much with this one, and didn't like it ......
Now this one I think is much better.....quite a large MDF piece, so I thought it needed to be classy & elegant. Black & gold is always a favourite choice for me, if I'm doing 'elegant'! I simply covered the front of the plaque with black smooth cardstock then stamped and heat-embossed the Ground Elder - HERE, Teasels - HERE, Tall Teasel - HERE and Sentiment HERE in fine gold embossing powder. (this is my favourite, and a great size to work with)
This was a small plaque, so I painted it with Dylusions acrylic paint in yellow & lime.....(so much brighter than in the pic). I stamped the Teasels, ( as above ) and Sentiment (as above) in Onyx black, Versafine, and added some yellow Stickles - HERE
Well, hope you've enjoyed seeing my MDF pieces, I'll be back next weekend with a sneaky peek of the brand new Christmas stamps.....and they are FABULOUS!!
Catch you later,
Barbara xx

It's Autumn at Bee Crafty

Hi again, back with another quick post.....quick, because I'm going on holiday to Croatia TONIGHT!! (so my next few posts will be scheduled)
This is another Autumnal card using one of the leaf 'Inkables'....
I really LOVE the Inkables which are on the BEE CRAFTY website HERE , they are so versatile and because they have a 'positive' AND 'negative', can be used in so many ways.
This card uses the Easy Frame - Maple - HERE for the background, and I've inked through it with various colours of Distress Ink.
The next step was to stamp the images in black Versafine -  Tall Teasel and Teasels from the BEAUtanicals range - HERE and a sentiment from the Wordage range - HERE
All that was left to do was add a few sequins ......see, told you it was quick!
Hope you like it....
Well I'm off to pack now, but will be back soon with a scheduled post.
Catch you soon

PS.....Bev & Bee Crafty are at Ally Pally this weekend. If you're there, call in to say 'Hi' x

Saturday is Bee Crafty day......

Hi everyone, Barbara here again, with my Saturday inspiration for BEE CRAFTY....these weeks sure fly around quickly!
I've made a very clean & simple card for today's blog, using Autumnal colours.....
After masking off the bottom part of the card, I blended  3 shades of distress ink, (Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold and Ripe Persimmon), to make a sort of sunset.
White hammered, and black smooth card stock from
PAPERMILLDIRECT
The stamps I've used are :-
1) Branch, from the BEAUtanicals range - HERE
2) Flock of Birds, from Winged Things - HERE
3) Sentiment from Wordage range - HERE
I used Versafine, Onyx Black for the stamping.
3 sequins were all it need to finished.
If you've enjoyed looking, it would be great if you could leave a comment....good or bad, they're always interesting to read.
Well, I'm off to do a clock workshop this morning, so better a get a move on.....
Catch you next week,

Anyway, as well as doing some samples for the upcoming show at Ally Pally for
I've made a clean & simple card to show you this week.
After die-cutting a circle and frame in white linen, from
I stamped Ground Elder, Tall Teasel, Teasels and sentiment from the BEAUtanicals range, HERE using a Kaleidacolor inkpad (Caribbean Sea)
I added a few sequins and dotted some Glossy Accents around the image, to finish.
